Managing Stress And Anxiety

Are you experiencing increased stress and anxiety that is interfering with your daily life? Is anxiety stealing your buzz and sabotaging your confidence, or turning your stomach into knots?

If you're feeling anxious or stressed, these strong feelings of worry, anxiety or fear can interfere seriously with your daily activities and give rise to panic attacks and lowered self-esteem.

Stress and anxiety manifests itself in many ways from feeling irritable with peers and family to tightness of chest and panic attacks. Anxiety is the fear of experiencing negative emotion in the future. Often stress and anxiety can be related to a low level of self-esteem, and/or a feeling of not being in control of your life. People who have an avoidant emotional style will feel predominantly fear and anxiety, leading to serious physiological effects felt in the body.

Become aware of the cause of your stress and anxiety…

Through counseling you can identify what your stressors are and how they are affecting you. Discuss with your counselor your fears, hurts, anger, criticisms, and perceived failures. Learn new techniques and strategies to help you deal with stress and anxiety in your life, from the inside.

Knowing about your stress and anxiety will help you understand why you behave like you do.

When you’re trying to fix your relationship but your emotions are out of control, you will always end up fighting. Knowing your emotional style will help you understand why you behave like you do. It’s time to get some professional help.

You can change this today.

I can help you to:

  • Lay the groundwork for building emotional skills to achieve a high level of peace and calm within yourself.
  • Know your emotional style – the fight or flight response – and how you react in emotional situations.
  • Understand your emotional brain – learn how your brain affects your personal emotions.
